Investigating St Swithun’s

Sun 26 Feb 2012
St Swithun’s is a church in the centre of Worcester. Now rarely used, it is an unusual example of an unaltered Georgian church interior. During the afternoon we will look at what the building can tell us, investigating the symbolism and doing some brass rubbing. We will also investigate the historical sources at Worcestershire History Centre, to find out how the documents can help us find out more about the people who would have used St Swithun’s.
